The Comfort of His Promises

After a long, hard day sometimes you need some comfort food.  Fried chicken.  Macaroni and cheese.  Baked beans.  Green bean casserole.  Apple pie with vanilla ice cream!  Comfort food (whatever yours may be) is supposed to bring a nostalgic or sentimental felling to the consumer.  God provides great comfort words when we face challenges.  More than nostalgia or sentiment these words bring everlasting promises that we can stand on during the storms.
