There is hope in our life today and for all eternity because there is an empty tomb and a living Savior. Peter points us back to the resurrection of Christ as the foundation for our hope!
Peter knew what it was like to face the challenges of living for Jesus. His message still provides hope and help for us almost 2000 years later! As we seek to love Jesus and live for Jesus may we always be people of hope!
Failure never has to be the final word on our life. Peter failed Jesus. To fail Jesus can be bad enough, but for Jesus to then look directly at you after failing had to be overwhelming. Peter wept bitterly. Nevertheless, Peter’s failure and his restoration became a defining moment.
Peter made a defining decision to follow Jesus. Peter heard the teaching and preaching of Jesus, witnessed the miracles of Jesus, and walked with Jesus as part of His inner circle. Peter wasn’t a perfect follower, but he was an authentic man who sought to live out God’s will for his life and follow Jesus.…
