The local church is a family! Believers are called children of God (1 John 3:1). We are a family of believers, members of God’s household (Gal. 6:10; Eph. 2:16-20), and part of a living household, the church of the living God (1 Tim. 3:15)! We find that the Bible shows New Testament believers joined and committed to New Testament churches.
