Peter made a defining decision to follow Jesus. Peter heard the teaching and preaching of Jesus, witnessed the miracles of Jesus, and walked with Jesus as part of His inner circle. Peter wasn’t a perfect follower, but he was an authentic man who sought to live out God’s will for his life and follow Jesus. Jesus didn’t call perfect people 2000 years ago, and he doesn’t call perfect people today. So, there’s hope for all of us as we seek to follow Jesus!
