We provide Bible-based programs for birth through pre-K in a safe and loving environment. Our preschool ministry team is dedicated to giving your child lots of love and helping them learn about God. It is important to lay the foundation of faith in Jesus at an early age. At First Baptist Church St. Charles, we know the importance of offering your child the opportunity to hear Bible stories, learn scripture verses and worship Jesus through songs. Preschool care is offered through a cooperative effort between the parents of preschoolers and church volunteers. All of our workers have clear background checks.
We offer KidCheck secure check in for our KidsCountry Preschool. Parents and volunteers, please set up your KidCheck account today.

On Sunday mornings children hear a Bible story, sing songs of praise, participate in arts and crafts projects, and share scripture verses for that day.
- SNACK TIME – Children ages 1 and over are given a snack. Parents should inform the childcare workers of any food allergies. Staff feed bottles to children, but cannot be responsible for feeding baby food/meals.
- PLAY TIME – During warm weather, children are taken outside to our enclosed playground for playtime.
The KidsCountry Preschool Choir meets from 6:00-7:15 pm during the school year for age 3 (by August 1 of current school year) through pre-K. Children enjoy learning exciting songs with movement, playing instruments, craft time and snack. The preschool choir sings several times throughout the year, including Sunday morning worship services and prior to the KidsCity Choir musical in May. Although our preschool choir meets only during the school year, childcare is provided year round from birth-4 years old. CLICK HERE to register your child for KidsCountry Preschool Choir. Awana Club is an exciting program for kids to learn about God’s love and His plan for our lives. A club meeting consists of three parts: game time, small group Bible memory time, and a large group story time. Preschool Awana Club meets from 6:30-8:00 pm for ages 2 (by August 1 of current school year) through pre-K. A preschool parent must be in the building during club times.
